Runaway Scrape Re-Enactment Event Details:

Join us on Saturday, April 4 for an exciting re-creation of the Runaway Scrape and Engagement at Thompson’s Ferry! In the spring of 1836, thousands of Texians fled from their homes as Santa Anna’s army began marching toward San Jacinto.

At 10:30 am and 2:30 pm, visit the 1830s Jones Stock Farm and see the Texians in action as they struggle to retreat from the advancing Mexican forces and learn more about the local engagement that would soon follow.

Cost is included with general admission!
