Crime Stoppers and the Harris County Sheriff's Office Vehicular Crimes Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a Hit and Run-Failure to Stop and Render Aid (Fatality).
On Saturday, May 25, 2019, at 2:49 a.m., Michael Allen Joice (pictured below) was initially involved in an auto pedestrian accident with a Ford F-150 truck (traveling eastbound) while standing in the roadway and attempting to flag down vehicles for help in the 15800 block of TX-Hwy 99 (Grand Parkway). The driver of the Ford F-150 stopped and remained on scene. Investigators believe Joice was killed in this first impact.
While the victim was still in the roadway, an unknown light colored sedan (traveling eastbound) struck the victim. The driver of the unknown light colored sedan fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
