Sugar Land police arrested four men this week after they were caught burglarizing the Best Buy located in the 16900 block of the Southwest Freeway.

Police arrived minutes after an alarm was activated at 4 a.m. and located the men attempting to drive away. Their vehicle was stopped, and six men tried to run away. Two were immediately detained, another two were quickly apprehended after a search of the area and the remaining two remain at large.

Steven Lejohn Battle, 29, of Houston, Rafeal Jaafarr Williams, 31, of Houston, Antoine Bernard Phillips, 24, of Houston, and Brickey Juan Manvel, 27, of Channelview, were all arrested and charged with evading arrest or detention, burglary of building/forcible entry and engaging in organized criminal activity.

Investigators believe the suspects traveled from the Acres Home area of Houston and are part of a large burglary ring targeting electronics stores.

Anyone with information on the two men who escaped should contact the Sugar Land Police Department at (281) 275-2540 or Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at (281) 342-TIPS (8477).
