2021 Senior Center Survey from the City of Sugar Land

Loading Image...

Sugar Land Parks & Recreation provides services to the City's older adults ages 50 years and up through programs and services hosted at the T.E. Harman Center. Over the last 20 years these services have evolved and grown immensely. In order to ensure that these services continue to meet the needs of the residents, they are soliciting feedback from their existing, potential and future customers.

The purpose of the Senior Center study is to provide a preliminary study on a new senior center that:

*Promotes the health and well-being, social interactions and independence of senior individuals

*Responds to the needs and interests of a diverse population of seniors from different cultural, generational and socioeconomic backgrounds, and with increasingly complex social and physical needs

*Meets the community’s needs within reasonable budget

*Provides reliable cost estimate for funding effort and/or bond election

*Explores funding opportunities and sustainable funding streams

*Creates an amenity that attracts potential businesses and residents

Please complete their Senior Center survey by July 31, 2021 and feel free to share the survey with your friends, neighbors and community groups. They want to hear from as many people as possible!
