Protecting students, teachers, and staff is a Top priority for the FBCSO
Now that the second semester of the school year is in full swing, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office welcomed the opportunity to meet with chief administrators from several ISDs to share ideas and resources to keep schools safe and secure. Superintendents from Fort Bend, Lamar Consolidated, Needville, and Stafford Municipal school districts, along with the Fort Bend Chief Assistant District Attorney and Lamar CISD Police Department Chief met with Sheriff Fagan and Chief Deputy Provost to discuss pressing issues around campus safety including active shooter drills and crime prevention.
Protecting students, teachers, and staff is a top priority for the FBCSO. They share responsibility of safety with the school leaders and are committed to keeping the dialogue going. They are grateful for the collaboration.
