Another week, another Sugar Land Police Department Success Story!

Early in the morning on Saturday, March 5, officers responded to the 7000 block of Morningside Drive in Greatwood in reference to a suspicious person. The caller reported that they saw someone inside their vehicle in front of their house. Multiple officers responded to the scene and began searching the area. The suspect was subsequently found and ultimately confessed to breaking into the victim's vehicle and was placed into custody for Burglary of a Motor Vehicle.

Thank you to all who made this a success story!

While they are here, they wanted to give you a couple tips you can follow to keep you and your vehicle safe 👇

- Don’t leave stuff (especially firearms) in your car

- Make sure you lock your car

- Park in your driveway or garage

- Park in a well-lit area
