Cadet Shivani Sinha, an Elkins High School senior in Air Force Junior ROTC (AFJROTC) Unit TX-932, is one of 100 recipients of the J-100 AFJROTC Character-in-Leadership Scholarship. Congratulations!

The J-100 recognizes the character and leadership developed in AFJROTC cadets and provides only 100 high school seniors from across the nation the opportunity to pursue a commission in the United States Air or Space Forces while earning their college degree. The 100 cadets selected for 2022 met required academic and physical fitness standards and were selected by a board of Air Force civilians, officers and senior non-commissioned officers.

This four-year scholarship provides her with full tuition, university-owned housing, and a stipend to assist with living expenses.

Cadet Sinha will attend the University of Texas at Dallas and be a member of the University of North Texas Air Force ROTC Detachment 835.
