Installation of Bike Repair Stations in Sugar Land Parks

The Sugar Land Parks and Recreation team recently worked with Boy Scout Jackson Priesmeyer in BSA Troop 828 from St. Laurence Catholic Church to install four bike repair stations in their parks. One repair station has already been installed at Brazos River Park, with one each going to Memorial Park, The Crown Festival Park and Oyster Creek Park.
The bike repair stations have a “rack” or bike holder to suspend the bike off the ground so users can safely work on their bike. Each side of the station has various common bike repair tools, like wrenches, screw drivers, hex key allen wrench sets, tire tools, etc. all made to help riders repair their bikes onsite before they ride out. Brazos River Park location has a bonus air pump.
Jackson and his team hand built these stations from scratch! Thank you Jackson for choosing Sugar Land parks for your Eagle Scout project!
