Remember The Fallen- National Police Week Memorial 2023Sugar Land Police Department held their National Police Week Memorial at City Hall yesterday morning. Laying a wreath to honor the 36 Texas Peace Officers and the 245 fallen Officers throughout the US, who were killed in the line of duty in 2022. Yesterday they honored the fallen, those who made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting and serving their communities. May their families find peace, knowing that their sacrifice was great but not in vain.Special thanks to their guest speaker Mr. Steven Burke, the Dulles High School Air Force JROTC for the presentation of colors, and Mr. Milt Cousins for the playing of Taps.
