THIS IS IT! The ORIGINAL Turkey Trot in the Greater Houston area. Sugar Land Surgical Hospital First Colony Turkey Trot! Race Day Registration starts at 6:45 am! Race Shirts guaranteed to the first 1,200 entrants. Sugar Land Turnkey Trot has been voted FLS' favorite race by our runners each year. Everyone's favorite race! Bagpiper brings you into the finish area, along with local blues band "Little Terry and The Blues Birds." Twenty U.S. states were represented last year among our entrants. Come run on a fast course, with a wild downhill first mile. Join us for a great local Thanksgiving Morning Family Tradition...the 2017 32nd Annual Sugar Land Turkey Trot through the beautiful, quiet, safe Sugar Creek subdivision. A PR COURSE!
Thanksgiving costumes encouraged, including a Costume Contest. Please remember to bring canned goods, warm clothing, and running shoes for East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry in Stafford to drop off in boxes in front of our store.
7:30 am Sean Scroggins Memorial Kids Mile(ages 12-and-under only). About 100 eager young kids, including strollers.
8 am Bib-tag-timed Five-Mile Race. About 700 runners in this chip-timed competitive race. Certified, loop-course with called splits each Mile. Fast, PR course!
8:30 am 2.8-Mile Walk&Jog. About 400 take part in this casual, non-competitive walk or jog, including strollers. NO DOGS or bikes, however, in any FLS road race.
8:45 am-9:45 am Awards Ceremony, right in front of Finish Line Sports.
Strollers are allowed in the 2.8-Mile Walk&Jog or Kids Mile ONLY. NO dogs or bikes in any portion for safety reasons. There IS Raceday Registration available, starting at 6:45 am in front of Finish Line Sports.
Sorry, NO refunds, NO transfers to other runners, NO deferrals are offered at FLS races.
