Mindful Nature Walks Event Details:
Walk with the Coastal Prairie Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists for a guided 90-minute mindful nature walk. These walks are designed for meditators, naturalists, and nature lovers alike. Participants are invited to slow down and experience the natural world through mindful movement, breathing, sensory awareness, and nature meditation.
Mindful nature walks promote careful observation of the natural world and foster insight into how organisms and environments are interconnected, including our role in community-based conservation. Participants may experience benefits such as relaxation, stress reduction, improved mood, restored attention, stronger immune function, and stronger social bonds.
Walks are free and open to the public and rotate between Cullinan Park and Seabourne Creek Nature Park. Please dress appropriately for current weather conditions and bring a hat, water bottle, and bug spray. In the event of rain or inclement weather, the walk will be cancelled.
