Lend a Hand, Sugar Land is a community-driven day of service focused on giving back to the city that has enriched the lives of its residents. The mission is to bring people together through acts of service, empowering individuals to create meaningful change and ensuring Sugar Land remains a vibrant and welcoming community—as sweet as its name. The event will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Volunteers will gather for a kickoff event at 7 a.m., wrap up assignments by 2 p.m., and return tools and supplies by 3 p.m. The event is powered by dedicated volunteers, including individuals, families, and groups. Volunteers must arrange their own transportation to and from the event, including the kickoff ceremony and volunteer locations. All volunteers must complete the Serve Sugar Land Handbook, and those 18 and older will need to undergo a background check.
