Shred, declutter, and celebrate Records and Information Management Month with us! Shred Day will be held on April 23, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Sugar Land City Hall. This event is open to City of Sugar Land residents and employees. Residents may shred up to 4 file boxes. The event is first-come, first-served, so arrive early as trucks can fill up quickly. Acceptable items include paper, staples, CDs, binder clips, photos, books, and magazines. Unacceptable items include cardboard, metal objects, 3-ring binders, hard drives, film, cellphones, hanging folders, batteries, hazardous waste materials, and glass.
