Mindful Nature Walks Event Details:
Walk with Coastal Prairie Chapter Texas Master Naturalists! Join for a guided 90-minute mindful walk in the park on the first Saturday of the month, with themes and practices of interest to meditators, naturalists, and nature lovers. These walks encourage slowing down and connecting with the natural world through mindful movement, breathing, sensory awareness, and nature meditation. Participants will also explore the interconnectedness of organisms and environments through observation. Benefits include relaxation, reduced stress, improved mood, stronger immune function, and social connection. Walks are free and open to the public and rotate between Cullinan Park and Seabourne Creek Nature Park. Participants should dress for the weather and bring water and bug spray. Walks are canceled in the event of rain or inclement weather.
