Children's Story Time with Nature Craft Event Details:
Free and open to the public. Enjoy a family-friendly Children's Story Time with Nature Craft on the first Saturday of the month from April through June at alternating park locations. Each session is led by a Texas Master Naturalist in a peaceful park setting with a fun nature theme and related craft activity. Readings are geared toward younger children under age 12, but crafts are for everyone to enjoy. Explore the natural world, embrace the changing seasons, and take home a craft to remember your day. Dress for the weather and bring hat, sunglasses, water bottle, and bug spray as needed. In case of rain or inclement weather, the walk will be cancelled. Schedule: April 4 – Cullinan Park (Butterflies theme); May 2 – Seabourne Creek Nature Park (Butterflies theme); June 6 – Cullinan Park (Earthworms theme).
