Join us for a special hands-on STEM workshop presented by the Travis High School chapter of STEMsters. Youth in grades K–5 will learn about the concepts of energy, angles, and air resistance and then have the opportunity to create their own catapults using marshmallows. STEMsters is a national student-run non-profit organization that allows high school students to volunteer by leading interactive, hands-on STEM lessons for younger children.
