Acara Solutions is searching for an Electronic Assembler II for our client located in Sugar Land, TX.

Rate: 12/hr
Hours: TRAINING: M-F, 7a-3:30p - Post Training, either 1st shift M-Th, 7-5:30p. OR 2nd shift Fr-Sun, 6a-6:30p, with 11% differential (13.32/hr - covers the 4 hours not worked)
Duration: 3 Months, possible to extend

Job Details:
Job Summary: Build electronic cables, harnesses and panel assemblies using CMP processes, procedures, engineering drawings and specifications. This position typically works under general supervision and direction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Follows all safety requirements and procedures. Assumes responsibility for his/her own safety as well as the safety of others.
Read and build to production drawings
Identify and document problems on assemblies and suggest solutions.
Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems.
Solder and install components on PC Boards.
Crimp pins, using both hand and semi-automatic crimping tools.
Solder a variety of electrical components.
Use heat guns to install heat shrink and/or solder splices.
Strip wire using thermal, hand and semi-automatic strippers.
Operate required machinery and equipment in a safe manner following established safety rules, maintains a neat and clean work area, follows established tool and instrument control/calibration procedures, and reports and unsafe acts or conditions to management.
