Lessons On The Go® is currently seeking a guitarist and or guitar teacher who can travel to the student's home. Salary will be based on experience and to be discussed at interview. The area serviced would be Sugar Land/ First Colony. Must live within 30 minutes of the area. If you do not live within 30 minutes of this area, please DO NOT apply. Teachers get to choose their own schedules. Each teacher receives a personal teacher profile on our website. Most students are complete beginners with little to no experience. Most students also enjoy learning songs they are familiar with. This position would be great for a college student, young professional, or teacher with after school times open. Lesson slots and times are booked according to your availability and schedule. Guitar lessons range from 30/45/60 minutes per student and are weekly. Many times, siblings will take lessons back to back with upward of two hours per household. We also offer our students the opportunity to perform in our bi-annual recitals. This takes the pressure off of you trying to find a place to host a recital for your students etc. This is not a short term position, asking minimum one year commitment. Please note, this position is not a full time position but rather supplementary and workable within your current schedule.

Skills Required:

Must have in depth knowledge of scales, chords, theory etc.
Must be patient and have a passion for teaching and helping children grow.
Must be able to communicate with parents on a weekly basis.
Must be punctual.
