Lessons On The Go® is currently seeking a violin teacher who can travel to the student's home. Salary based on experience and to be discussed at interview. The area serviced would be Sugar Land/ First Colony. Must live within 30 minutes of the area. If you do not live within 30 minutes of this area, please DO NOT apply. Each teacher receives a personal teacher profile on our website. Most students are complete beginners with little to no experience. Some students will be in their school's orchestra needing help with specific pieces and upcoming performances while other students will just want to learn violin outside of a school curriculum. This position would be great for a college student, young professional, or teacher with after school times open. Lesson slots and times are booked according to your availability and schedule. Violin Lessons range from 30/45/60 minutes per student and are weekly. Many times, siblings will take lessons back to back with upward of two hours per household. We also offer our students the opportunity to perform in our bi-annual recitals. This takes the pressure off of you trying to find a place to host a recital for your students etc. This is not a short term position, asking minimum one year commitment. Please note, this position is not a full time position but rather supplementary and workable within your current schedule.

Skills Required:

Must have in depth knowledge of theory, scales, and site reading.
Must have a passion for teaching and helping students to grow.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must be punctual.

Compensation:

$35-$40/Hr. Depending on experience.
