I'm not against job creation and progress, but seriously, is another few acres of concrete really what we need? There's a Costco just down 59 from there, and a Sam's nearly across the street. Meanwhile, everytime it rains there seem to be flooding issues.

Welcome to Houston. It's all brick and mortar. I'm sorry to hear about the flooding issues. That's the problem when you keep building and less green areas to absorb the rain. I'm not for it myself but there is a demand.

I thought this is the corporate office building, not a store.

This Costco Business Center will be a Costco store that caters to small businesses. Check this website out www.costcobusinessde livery.com/

It will offer a wide selection of Office Supplies, Candy & Snacks, Disposables, Janitorial, Grocery and more for business and home use.

@Jnainani : This Costco will reduce the congestion of Cosco in Sugar Land! Too many cars coming here😉

I mean that wasn't empty land to begin with.

You're right. It was TI that used to be housed there as their corporate headquarters.

Well the whole The Grid was the former TI site, but between the buildings it was grass and large trees. It was actually a pleasant-looking space.

We might get the pleasant looking space back. Progress is being made there.

'@Jnainani : It's going to be acreage of concrete. I haven't seen any trees larger than 3" in diameter, if that. 'Progress' is not always a good thing, not under it's current description. Meanwhile, we are losing more acres of soil able to absorb rainfall.
"That's the problem when you keep building and less green areas to absorb the rain. I'm not for it myself but there is a demand." Your words, not mine. We need to rethink this.

@BlackBird : Unfortunately, it's business and it's happening there and throughout all of Houston. I can relate to this issue because this happened in my community too but it wasn't my choice. It was the developers and city officials.
