Sugar Land water bill may be higher than usual because this is year two of a three-year plan for rate increases. The rate increase, effective January 1, 2022, is a part of the Integrated Water Resource Plan (IWRP) adopted by City Council in 2019. The plan identified a need for the rate increase to ensure the financial sustainability and stability of the system. Understand this rate change - and what the charges are on your water bill - using these links👇
