@SweetwaterBoss Hmmm it isn't showing on their website under locations anymore. Also showing on Yelp as closed too.

It was closed when I was at Blaze pizza the other day. The location in SL had the the most over priced and worst food. I can't comment on the other locations.

I always heard it was not as good as the other locations. The one in Sugar Land is the only one I have been to though. Last time we went we ended up walking out because we never got any service.

Looks like their Westheimer location is still open.

There was a huge roach with wiggly antennae on the floor the last time I went. Good riddance.

Must have been the Cajun style roaches...

Ragin’ Cajun closed its Sugar Land location at 16100 Kensington Drive. The cajun restaurant still has two locations in Houston. The original is located at 4302 Richmond Ave., Houston.

When James and I want a taste of home, and great seafood, huge menu, we go to Floyd's. Pappadeaux's is still very good, too, in our very critical opinion. All seafood is expensive, no matter where you go it seems.
Friday I went to Catfish Shack on 90 by New Territory. I got the catfish basket {fries) and chicken gumbo cup, not bowl. about $15, with just water. They gave me 6 big catfish filets!! I couldn't finish it. Took 3 filets home to James. The gumbo was seasoned extremely well! Lots of chicken and sausage in it. No, they really don't have any seasoning in the catfish batter, but it seems other things on the menu do. I want to try the shrimp creole, etoufee, and boudin sausage! The young manager, Scott, is great. I know he worked at Frenchy's at the same location. Must talk with him about that catfish seasoning problem!

What do you all think of Razoos?? Been there twice, I think. Last time a year ago I got raw oysters. They were average. How's the gumbo etc?
Have you been there Bubbapie?

@Rosemary6 Not surprising, I have been to all those places. I've never had a problem at Floyd's, but when I went with 2 of our forum friends. The snapper made them sick. I've been since and no complaints. Papadeaux is just a little too noisy and crowded for this senior citizen. Also good food and expensive.

Lastly, catfish kitchen is a good value, but as you pointed out...very under seasoned catfish. I find myself going to Pier 36 a lot and Joe's. be sure and get the fried shrimp there and 8.95 dozen oysters on Wednesday.

Where is Joe's? Pier 36 is down the road and convenient so we've been there a lot over the years. we tip the oyster shucker $5 and he knows to give us the largest oysters! Fresh shucked, not previously shucked and sitting in the refrigerator. The crawfish is good too.
