So a breakfast/lunch place kind of like The Egg & I. Not sure if that's the best location but I wish them luck.

Yeah.....as much as I like breakfast places, I think they will have a hard time in Town Square serving only breakfast and lunch.

You need a liquor license to survive in Town Square.. Very high rent, and you have to be open at night.

@snv86 : Thanks for sharing. I can't wait until they open. Looks like great breakfast and lunch items. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Too bad they don't open until 7:00a. We will have to go on a Sunday when they open for brunch since they stay open until 3:00p.

@snv86 : Community Impact newspaper of May 7th-June 3rd says it'll be an August opening for Toasted Yolk. No exact date mentioned on website either. Gave them my email address. Looks like a nice place to celebrate a birthday. Or the fact that i woke up one more day. Www.thetoastedyolk.com.

Free and quite potent Mimosas are a great way to start..not sure how long they will continue that, but it's a nice way to say hello.....

it's crowded and kind of noisy, as the renovated a little, and there are now a lot more hard surfaces and open spaces...they have a lot more tables than Bacon Bros did.........10 min wait at the door.

Prices are a little on the high side.

Nice selection on the hot teas.

Tasty..........but on the edge of overpriced. The "hash brown cassarole" that accompanies most dishes is kind of dull....

Will they survive? tough call...the food is good, prepared and served well, but...its expensive enough that it's not going to be a daily go to place for most people...more an occasional weekend treat. It really going to come down to whether they can develop a weekday morning/lunch business......Given its closeness to town hall...you have to wonder wether there enough developers and engineering firms taking city employees and elected officials out to breakfast to keep it open?
