I was on my way to Kroger's at Sweetwater and noticed one of my favorite restaurant is permanently closed. Unfortunately, it could not survive Covid-19 shutdown despite being in business for 8 years! This virus has hurt so many businesses!

@zoomchum : Oh no. I'm so sad to see them close their doors. We frequently went here for their delicious Italian food. We loved their food and friendly service. Our dog really enjoyed eating outside on their beautiful outdoor patio with us.

Yes, we loved eating on their outdoor patio next to their ⛲️ fountains. It was very relaxing.

I 've seen it, it had been there long time. Even with an Olive Garden in same shopping lot!

@Rfin : Yes, they were in business a long time. Hands down Antonia's had way better Italian food than Olive Garden. The Hallmark store beside Antonia's does pretty good business. I hope she doesn't close her store next to Kroger's.

This was my go-to romantic restaurant, when my wife and I needed a romantic dinner out.

Will definitely miss them. A great loss to the community

Back to square one now.

Only other decent italian restaurant (that's not a big chain) in Sugar Land is Corelli's Italian Cafe. I hope they are still around.

@TomT I just called Corelli's and they are still open For business. They don't deliver nor do they use a 3rd party to deliver like a Ubereats or Doordash. She said that you can dine-in or do takeout. They have curbside pickup.

Their Hours of Operation Is:
Sunday thru Thursday 11:00am until 9:00pmFriday thru Saturday 11:00am until 10:00pm

The last time we were in Corelli's Italian Cafe was a while back. Our last experience there was so bad that we haven't been back. Service was horrible. I'm willing to give it another shot.

Sorry to hear that about Antonio's. It was a good place to go for their Fresh Made Pasta.
They have not been open so could not support them.

We have done take-out from Corelli's the past few weeks to help them stay. Good Italian Food.

Corelli's have good food also. But I will miss Antonia's Cucina. I think they have another location in Katy.
