The City of Sugar Land Citizen's Police AcademyApplications for the next Citizen's Police Academy are now open! Applications are being accepted now and will close on August 14th, 2023. Fall class will begin Thursday, August 24th, 2023, and concludes with graduation on Thursday, November 9th, 2023. The Citizen's Police Academy is an opportunity to take an inside look at the Sugar Land Police Department, a remarkable organization of people and technology. This class is offered free of charge.With lectures and hands-on sessions, this 13-week course (which meets every Thursday night from 7p-10p) gives a behind-the-scenes look at Sugar Land Police Department and a small glimpse at what it takes to become a Police Officer.
