Credit Card Fraud Suspect Arrested with Stolen IDsThe SLPD recently arrested Johnny Minh Cao, who was found with stolen mail, multiple stolen IDs, counterfeit postal keys, and nearly 20 credit and debit cards with a combined value of more than $50,000, several of which had already been used in fraudulent transactions.
Cao was booked into the Fort Bend County Jail and is charged with 2nd degree felony fraud use and possession of identifying information, 3rd degree tampering with a government document, and 3rd degree unlawful possession and manufacturing of a criminal instrument.We’d like to thank our partners at the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the Houston Police Department, and the University of Houston Police Department for their collaboration in making this arrest.
