Expect Delays as Sugar Land Mobility Project Kicks Off March 10

From The City of Sugar Land:
Fort Bend County will begin construction on a mobility project inside the City of Sugar Land City Limits on March 10, 2025. The work will be carried out by Northtex Construction’s subcontractor, Republic Traffic Safety, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily for the next 30 days.
Left turn lanes will be added in-place of a straight through lane on SH 6 at the intersection of US 90A. This mobile operation (moving lane closure) will utilize flaggers to direct traffic.
Please be mindful of work crews and expect traffic delays. Visit
its.sugarlandtx.gov for current traffic conditions in Sugar Land.
About this Project
The project is the result of Fort Bend County 2020 and 2023 Bond Funding, totaling $370,000. The improvements will include restriping the intersection of US 90A and SH 6 to be 3 dedicated left turn lanes and 1 through lane.
