Final Phase of Sugar Land's Safety Complex Nears Completion

Sugar Land’s new Public Safety Training Complex is in Phase II, and nearing completion. Today, Assistant City Manager and Chief of Public Safety Mark Poland, Assistant Police Chief Davis and Assistant Fire Chief Leverence conducted a walk through the 23,000-square-foot, cutting-edge training facility, designed to enhance public safety across the city and serve as a one-stop hub for our police, fire and EMS teams to train for critical incidents under one roof. The new complex will also allow our first responders to train on duty without leaving the city, allowing them to remain available to respond to emergency calls.
