Fort Bend ISD approved teacher pay increase
Fort Bend Independent School District approved a new pay scale at its May 18th meeting that will give existing teachers a 1.6 to 3.4 percent raise. Teachers will also receive uniform $500 increases through the first 20 years and starting salary has been increased to $50,500. Administration officials approved these changes to remain competitive with teacher pay and maintain a balanced budget.
