Help! I left a cooked steak out overnight!! Forgot to put in fridge. Put it in fridge at 4am. Is it still ok to eat??

Hmm that is a tough one. I probably wouldn't eat it myself but I really don't know. Was it covered up?

I think 2 hours is the general rule. I'm like @Ragilltx I wouldn't test it. I'm a wimp. I even have strict leftover rules.

@SharShar I know I am thinking I wouldn't eat it but then again it is a steak... that is what makes it a tough decision.

Throw it on the floor for 6 seconds... it breaks the 5 second rule so you have to toss it out!! Case Closed...

Some pretty funny responses guys!!!! Well my husband ate it that same day for lunch. He's still alive. Didn't even throw up! Couple of women at my job said it was very ok to eat.
