Hit and run on Lexington Blvd (close to Highway 6) in Sugar Land

Hi there neighbors, someone I know was involved in a hit-and-run accident on Lexington with the cross street closest to River Crest, at approximately 3:40 yesterday afternoon. She had slowed down for ducks, and a truck hit her with direct impact going about 40-50mph, the man which I would describe as an African American, middle aged man, drives a charcoal grey, Dodge Ram 1500 or 2500, no license plate to the front bumper, with little to no damage to his vehicle, I should add that the grill of his truck is all the same color as the body of the truck; her crossover (white, Lexus nx 200t) on the other hand, was not even drivable. The man also got out of his vehicle, assessed his vehicle, got back into his vehicle, then reversed onto the nearest cross street, and fled the scene. She is okay, with some injury but luckily her airbags did not deploy and things could have been worse.

Please if you have any information on the accident, the driver of the other vehicle that you might be neighbors with, or own a business nearby with cameras, please direct message me, I'd greatly appreciate that. Thanks!

I hope some footage with this lout's license plate turns up! Too bad your friend didn't snap a pic with her cell, but I suppose that was far from her mind once he stepped out.
