I've been growing a small garden for several months now and I'm so proud of its progress! I recently repotted some tomato plants into a plastic bin that I repurposed, with a garlic plant and garlic cloves that will hopefully sprout. It's only been a few days since repotting but things still look good! I'm hoping the garlic plants will help deter pests from the tomato plants as they all grow together. I'm pretty new to gardening so any tips, tricks, or advice is greatly appreciated.

@Lucageddon :
You're on the right track! Garlic is an excellent pest deterrant. You can sprinkle some egg shells as finely aa you can to make a great fertilizer.

@Misha: Thank you for the eggshell tip, I'll be trying that soon!

@Lucageddon :
Let me know how it helped. You can try sprinkling some finely minced banana skin and orange peel too. Good luck 🎈🎈
