I wonder if it a puppy mill. I would rather get a rescue or shelter dog that needs a loving home

I agree, too many unwanted animals to be buying from breeders. Better to get an animal from already way overcrowded shelters. Also, info from the ASPCA:
"An American Kennel Club (AKC) registration, similar to a USDA-license, is not a guarantee of good living conditions and signifies nothing about the health or quality of a puppy. It is available to any dog breeder who can show on paper that the mother and father of the puppy were the same breed-nothing more." So even registered breeders can be puppy mills.

@Jnainani : google taylor Matura sick puppies on the I think Chanel 2 news. She has devastated so many people with sick animals. Lots of lawsuits against her. She uses different names so no one can track her. I can't believe sugar land wouldn't do homework on the people who set up business there

I am disappointed as well that Sugar Land would have that type of store here, especially with our own city animal shelter stressed to the brim. I can tell based on the way she responds to reviews on her page that the store owner is not someone I'd want to deal with; she makes every effort to belittle people who leave negative reviews.

The reason why people don't pursue further with her. She threatens the families with violence . Their kids and other family members. She is the devil. That store should be shut down. Probably operating without a permit and tax license

@Frenchielover : I looked up the name Taylor Matura you'd mentioned and the owner of A Puppy For You also seems to be named Taylor. What a shame if that same person is being allowed to continue operating with so many serious complaints of puppies dying within hours of purchase.
