Come to University Branch Library this week, November 14-18, 2023, for a variety of youth, teen, and adult programs!
 
Parking Instructions: Park inside the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4). Bring the parking-ticket stub to the check-out desk inside the library to be validated by library staff. Parking is FREE if the ticket is validated by the library. Parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston.
 
Tuesday, November 14:
 
10:15 - 11:15 am Computer Class: Open Lab - Need help with email, Internet, e-readers, or other technology? Bring your questions to their Open Lab for one-on-one assistance from their tech-savvy library staff. Registration: bit.ly/45Z5Kil
 
10:30 - 11:00 am Toddler Time - for families with children aged 1-3 years.

1:30 - 2:30 pm University Branch Culinary Club - Join them at University Branch Library for fun featuring food! They will talk about their recipes and share our experiences in the kitchen! This month’s theme is National Diabetes Month. They invite you to bring a photo of your dish or a short video of how you prepared it, if you like.
 
7:00 - 7:45 pm Pajama Night Story Time - Stories, songs, and action rhymes for families with children of all ages.

10:30 - 11:15 am Preschool Story Time - for families with children aged 3-6 years.
 
Friday, November 17:
 
10:30 am - 12:00 pm Senior Series - Senior Series is a series of conversations with local experts focused on the unique and complex housing related issues facing mature homeowners and their families. This month’s topic is The Truth About Senior Legal Needs.
 
Liz McNeel, with Keller Williams Metropolitan and Founder of the Houston Senior Living Series, will moderate a panel of experts in exploring this topic. This program is geared toward older adults and their family members. It is free and open to the public.
 
2:00 - 4:00 pm Craft Squad Social - Craft Squad is a weekly meetup for crafters and artists of all skill-levels. Bring whatever project you’re working on (and your supplies), and enjoy the company of other crafty people. Share your work, your tips and tricks, and get inspired by others.
