Traffic Stop Leads to Major Mail Theft Arrests in Sugar Land

From The Sugar Land Police Department:
At around 4am this morning, SLPD officers conducted a traffic stop on South Main St. of a white work truck for an expired registration. Upon further inspection of the vehicle, our officers discovered multiple homemade mailbox keys and a bag full of mail belonging to more than 50 addresses. David Bishop, Andrea Caffro, and Robert Trujillo have all been arrested and charged with third degree felony theft of mail. Bishop and Trujillo are facing further charges of unlawful use of a criminal instrument, a state jail felony. None of the mail recovered was from the City of Sugar Land. Great proactive police work from our Patrol Division!
