It’s time to clean out the craft closet! Whether you’re a crafter or artist looking to reduce your stash, or someone ready to explore a new hobby, come join us for our Arts & Crafts Supply Swap!
Swap Day: Saturday, May 17
Early Access: 10–11 am (for donors)
Open to All: 11 am – 2 pm
Donate your unwanted craft supplies from April 28 – May 15 and receive early access to the best picks!
Don’t have anything to donate? No worries — everyone is welcome from 11 am to 2 pm.
We’re accepting all kinds of craft supplies, including:
Yarn • Stickers • Craft paper • Buttons • Fabric • Brushes • Canvases
Knitting needles • Crochet hooks • Pens • Markers • Stamps • Beads
Scrapbooking materials • Unused craft kits • Coloring books • And more!
-Please do not bring spray paints or spray enamels.
- All donations should be in good, usable condition.
-Drop off supplies at the 2nd-floor Reference Desk or during our Craft Squad Socials on Fridays, 2–4 pm.
Unclaimed items will support future library programs or be donated to local groups. Let’s swap, share, and create together!
PARKING INSTRUCTIONS: Park inside the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4). Bring the parking-ticket stub to the check-out desk inside the library to be validated by library staff. Parking is FREE if the ticket is validated by the library. Parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston.
