Sugar Land Signals Now GPS-Equipped for Faster Emergency Response
From the City of Sugar Land:
Faster response. Safer roads.
All 92 traffic signals and traffic lights in the city have now been upgraded with GPS technology that clears the way for emergency vehicles. thanks to our Traffic Management team, in collaboration with Sugar Land Fire Department.
Now, when responders turn on their lights, the system communicates with signals ahead. This helps them get to emergencies quicker and safer!
