Detectives Identify and Arrest Suspect in Fort Bend County BurglariesThe Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Burglary & Theft Unit has arrested a 20-year-old suspect following an investigation into a series of overnight business burglaries throughout Fort Bend County.Detectives began investigating the burglaries in mid-August after several businesses were targeted. In each case, a lone suspect reportedly forced entry through glass doors and primarily stole cash from registers.Through investigative work, surveillance and collaboration with the Houston Police Department and Sugar Land Police Department, detectives identified Nasir Bodie as a suspect connected to the burglaries.On Wednesday, September 23, detectives arrested Bodie on warrants for Burglary of a Building and Evading Arrest or Detention with a Motor Vehicle. His bonds on the charges total $170,000.The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office credited the efforts of its detectives and the cooperation of its law enforcement partners in helping identify and arrest the suspect.
