Park for All Abilities will be opened!Fort Bend County Precinct 3 Commissioner Andy Meyers will officially open the first-ever county owned all abilities park during a ribbon-cutting ceremony tomorrow (Saturday), June 13, at 10 a.m.The new Galaxy All Abilities Park, located at 151 Stadium Drive in Sugar Land next to the Precinct 3 Annex, was designed to provide an inclusive recreational experience for children of all abilities. It is space themed in honor of the Sugar Land Space Cowboys who play home games just a half mile down the street.The $1.6 million park features wheelchair-accessible playground equipment, sensory walls, shaded seating areas, and other amenities intended to make play and outdoor activities accessible to everyone.The ribbon cutting is open to the public.
