Park for All Abilities will be opened! Fort Bend County Precinct 3 Commissioner Andy Meyers will officially open the first-ever county owned all abilities park during a ribbon-cutting ceremony tomorrow (Saturday), June 13, at 10 a.m. The new Galaxy All Abilities Park, located at 151 Stadium Drive in Sugar Land next to the Precinct 3 Annex, was designed to provide an inclusive recreational experience for children of all abilities. It is space themed in honor of the Sugar Land Space Cowboys who play home games just a half mile down the street. The $1.6 million park features wheelchair-accessible playground equipment, sensory walls, shaded seating areas, and other amenities intended to make play and outdoor activities accessible to everyone. The ribbon cutting is open to the public. Covering Fort Bend will be there to cover the event. 📍 Galaxy All Abilities Park
