I spotted a hummingbird in my backyard...too fast for a picture

Lucky you! I gave up and put away my feeders after the big love bug debacle I had I kept putting them out for weeks after the love bugs finally calmed down and never saw a hummingbird again.

there are also hummingbird moths in the area as well.

That's right! The love bugs were invading this year. Hope you get to see some hummingbirds. You might want to have some flowers in your backyard to increase your chances of spotting a bird. Good luck 🤞

I had to look up hummingbird moths to see what they look like. This is so interesting!

I will be looking them up as well!!

slightly smaller than the average hummingbird but easy to confuse seeing the way they hover.
