Tragic death of Schlumberger employee in Sugar Land under investigation
 
Authorities said an employee died while at work at a Schlumberger Limited facility in Sugar Land on Thursday.
 
The company said as of now, they won't be releasing the name of the employee, but said they are saddened by the tragic death. They also said an investigation has begun.
 
Schlumberger released the following statement:
 
"We are saddened by this tragic event. Our thoughts are with the family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased employee during this difficult time. We are working with local authorities and an investigation is underway."
 
The cause of death is unknown.

@TomT : OSHA would be involved with an industrial accident . This says SLPD is involved in another news report.

Think about it - If someone has a heart attack on the job, they do not do a Press Release to the Television news and other news outlets for the whole Houston Area to know about it.
There is more to the story.

@snoopy : You are just reporting what was on the news. That he suffered "a tragic death". Doesn't really explain anything. Everyone is being tight-lipped about it, which tells me there will probably be a future lawsuit.

It was a tragic accident. I work for SLB and was sent an email about what happened. That is all we can say.
