US 90A commuters—this one’s for you!
The Houston-Galveston Area Council and the Gulf Coast Rail District are collaborating on a study to explore transit options along the US 90A Highway corridor, which runs through key cities, including City of Sugar Land. This corridor is vital for commuters to travel to places like the Texas Medical Center, one of the region's largest job centers.
Community feedback is essential for this study, which aims to identify possible transit solutions to improve mobility such as light rail or bus rapid transit. You can head over to their website,

*This study is being conducted to identify a high-capacity transit alternative now that utilization of the existing Union Pacific rail corridor is not possible.
