Vasos BBQ relocating....

They posted this on their Facebook page...

"After 29 years in Sugar Land, we are relocating. In the interim, we are still offering catering. Please visit vasoscatering.com for your next event. Thank you to all of our customers for many awesome years and allowing us to be part of such a wonderful community. Looking forward to many more."

They have not said where they are moving to yet.

I went there for their banana split pies. yum! I was thinking of going there for their hot potatoes. Wondering if they will move closer to Houston?

That entire center will be empty pretty soon at this rate. If it wasn't for Dynamic, Egg n I, and HSC that area would be dead already.

oh wait the bakery closed too? I dropped by there sometimes. edited: I just saw their ad in the Fort Bend Star...sounded like the move was last minute?

So I heard the bakery is closed too, and that the owner said the rent kept going up and up so they are going to move.

After all the years that they have been here, the owners of the building should have taken that into consideration. Money talks and bills-t walks.

@snv86 : I love their food! I started going to the Stafford location in the 80s and was so happy when they moved to Sugarland.
I'm looking forward to their next location.

So i know this is an old post but please avoid Vasos. The jerk pushed out his own family member who owned Anonymous bakery (and was renting space from him). Then, they had to close up shop because nobody wanted to eat their bbq. Had nothing to do with rent. Glad Anonymous is reopening in Houston on Kirby!

Forgot to mention they even tried to steal Anonymous idea and open a Greek bakery and failed miserably. Karma. Please do not support Vasos in anyways.
