Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar to open third Houston location at The Grid in StaffordWhiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar will bring its locally sourced, farm-to-fork menu to Stafford come this fall.
The neighborhood tavern concept will open at Stafford's $500 million mixed-use development project, The Grid, at 12201 Southwest Freeway, according to a release. The Stafford location marks Whiskey Cake's third spot in the Houston area and eighth overall for the restaurant chain. Other restaurants are based in San Antonio, Dallas, Oklahoma City and Tampa, Florida.The Stafford location will offer 8,648-square-feet of space and an on-site garden. It will be open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch and boasts a creative menu featuring dishes from locally sourced vendors, according to the release.Approximately 350 different whiskey brands will be offered in Stafford, as well as micro-brewed beers and carefully selected wines on tap. The bar menu uses farm-fresh ingredients and hand pressed juices, per the release.
The Whiskey Cake restaurant is one of many projects that will dramatically transform the Stafford area over the next few years.
