love it here...stayed away from 99 ...only decent road for all the crowded new sub divisions that is where the expensive house and rich and famous, keep paying toll am happy with hwy 59 , 90 and hwy 6..
In all love Texas, fort bend and sugarland ...

@Stealth83 : I really don't like the property taxes here. It's quite expensive along with HOA dues and everything else.

Sugar Land has been counting on growth to increase the tax base and thus fund the budget for many years. With growth slowing down, it will be interesting to see how the budget balances when we can no longer count on a constant flow of land being converted from rural to single family to fund the cities expenses.

But you are "wealthy" according to the elected officials - what is another $100 to $500 increase in Taxes & HOA fees every year --- they say you can afford the increase and they know better than you on how to spend the $$>
